On December 14, star Al-Nassr posted pictures of his and his girlfriend’s trip and vacation. CR7 wrote: ‘Be amazed by the extraordinary people and natural heritage of Al-Ula in Saudi Arabia. Al-Ula is where modern and old stories meet’.
Al-Ula is an ancient oasis city located in the province of Medina. The area is also famous for its impressive landscape of giant rocks, canyons and valleys. Surrounded by arid land, interspersed with oases lined with lush palm trees near the city center.
C. Ronaldo visited Hegra (Mada’in Salih), a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Nabateans built this around a settlement and oasis in the first century AD. Sandstone outcrops were carved to build the cemetery. A total of four cemeteries still exist, including 131 monumental stone-carved tombs spread over 13.4 km, engraved with many ancient texts.
Georgina Rodriguez wore the traditional Muslim Abaya outfit throughout the trip, which was considered sophisticated when visiting ancient locations.
The two had dinner privately prepared by a Michelin chef inside a cave.
Afterwards, the Portuguese star and his girlfriend visited Maraya, which holds the Guinness World Record for being the building with the largest mirror with 9,740 glass panels, about 12 km from Hegra.
The Portuguese striker and his girlfriend chose to rest at Banyan Tree, the closest resort to Maraya, only two kilometers away, which is likened to a castle in the desert. Comfortable villas are located among the sand dunes and sandstone beaches of the Ashar valley.
